Advertising and Marketing Opportunities for Suppliers

The Australian Podiatry Association SA Inc. has increased the communication forums accessible to suppliers and members of the Association. With the launch of the new SA Website we have increased our presence and accessibility to the profession that will prove to be a great resource for both the practitioner and supplier. No longer will we rely on ‘word of mouth’ for that great contact that everyone would benefit from knowing about.

Through the website we have included a Suppliers Directory accessible through the Members Only Section for online advertising that includes links back to suppliers websites, suppliers brochures, flyers, catalogues and price lists and to top it off, we will be offering the Suppliers Directory as a downloadable pdf – now that is handy!

Besides the website, the Association will continue to provide the quarterly (as from 2010) publication Footnotes. We realize not everyone has access to the internet, and many of us still prefer a hard copy read that we can pick up intermittently and read during a break. Footnotes is also available to download as a pdf from our website and can be emailed out on request.

The weekly Email Update continues to be popular with members. By providing that regular weekly update members are able to keep in touch with events that are coming up, local and national news, resources and reference links.

Our commitment to ensuring the website, Footnotes and email communication to members is strong, in-fact South Australian members are so well informed they let us know instantly if there is something amiss. Each year our membership is increasing which is a positive indication that Association membership is a vital resource to have in this ever changing health care environment.

To be part of the SA podiatry community, consider the benefits of marketing through the South Australia Association. The Association provides the link between practitioners, suppliers, government, hospitals, aged care and community health, Universities and other educational groups.

Online Suppliers Directory

The online Suppliers Directory is a dedicated web page in the Members Only section where suppliers

can display their company logo, list their contact information, provide a link to their website and

include a downloadable pdf file which may be a flyer, one page brochure, price list, etc. 

The Suppliers Directory is also available as a pdf file for members to download and print off as a hard

copy as a easy to use quick guide for suppliers.  The Suppliers Directory will include the following categories;

     Medical Supplies

     Medical Services

     Footwear & Orthoses

     Practice Management

     Education

     Other

Online advertising includes the suppliers listing in the downloadable Suppliers Directory. 

Advertising will run for a 12 month period commencing from the original booking and add placement date. 

Suppliers are able to amend their advertising by notifiying the Association and providing electronic pdf files as often as required. 

Pdf files are to be a maximum of 1Mb. Website updates occur weekly.

Footnotes - the South Australian Podiatry Newsletter

The South Australian publication Footnotes is distributed to our members Quarterly.

Footnotes is a valuable resource to podiatrists providing regular local and national news items, insight into the life of a local Podiatrist in I, Pod, UniSA / Student updates, case studies, FAQ's, classifieds, calendar of events and advertising of products and services to the industry. If you would like to reach this specific audience consider the benefits of advertising in Footnotes, with 24 pages of content this newsletter is continuously referred back to and in some instances, archived copies going back to the very first edition.

The Association publishes four issues of Footnotes annually with a distribution of 300.

The newsletter is mailed directly to podiatrists who are members of the Association, podiatry students, podiatry assistants and other state Associations. All advertising must be supplied electronically in high resolution; pdf or jpeg format. Footnotes is also available to download as a pdf file from the Association’s website in the Members Only Publication section and can be emailed out on request.
