Australian Podiatry Association SA Inc

Public Services

Podiatry Services do not attract a Medicare rebate, however there are government funded services available through public hospitals, community health centres and the Department of Veterans Affairs.  The centres listed below provide a range of services so we recommend you contact the facility to enquire about their service and eligible criteria before sending a referral from your doctor.

You may also enquire with your GP about the Enhanced Primary Care scheme (EPC) which is a Government funded project for people suffering from a Chronic Disease.

The University of South Australia Podiatry Clinic is available for patients considered low risk.  Students are supervised by their lecturers and provide a range of services including nail surgery for a modest fee of $20.  For appointments please contact the clinic on Ph 8302 2269.  No referral required.
